Welcome to the Auckland Youth Choir website. We are a mixed-voice choir that continually strives for a world-class standard in choral music performance, while maintaining a strong social unity among our members.
The Auckland Youth Choir Incorporated (AYC) aims to be a premier vehicle for cultivating young musical talent through the art of choral singing.
To achieve the vision, the AYC aims to:
* be a committed, talented, and socially-knit group providing the foundation for performances of a high professional standard;
* perform a large variety of musical styles which the choristers and audiences enjoy;
* seek to represent the profile of Auckland youth;
* strive to maintain a high public image, manifested by high exposure at events of a civic and private capacity;
* be supported by stable leadership from its own members.
