Pacific Meets the Midwest - Auckland CBD

This May, the Auckland Youth Choir (AYC) is thrilled to host the Missouri State University Chorale for a landmark series of collaborative concerts. Bringing together two premier ensembles from opposite sides of the globe, Pacific Meets the Midwest celebrates the universal language of choral music through a dynamic exchange of culture and sound.

The Missouri State University Chorale is one of the United States’ most distinguished collegiate ensembles, and the Auckland Youth Choir is delighted to be hosting them for a special weekend of collaboration. In this special concert series, both choirs will be performing their own selected repertoire before joining forces in presenting a handful of joint pieces.
