About the event
Come to the final Auckland Youth Choir concert of the 2026 season and celebrate a wonderful year of music-making with us! This concert features a range of lively and heart-warming repertoire that invites Tāmaki Makaurau into the new Spring season.
We are especially excited to present three World Premieres and one New Zealand Premiere from local New Zealand composers:
NZ Premiere - 'Night' by David Hamilton
World Premiere - 'Dungeness' by Tom Talbot (AYC Young Composer in Residence 2026)
World Premiere - 'To Let the Lilies Blow' by Ada Zhang (NZCF-SOUNZ Composition Competition Winner 2026)
World Premiere - 'Te Hau, Te Ngākau' by Ada Zhang (NZCF-SOUNZ Te Reo Māori Choral Composition Competition Winner 2026)
